Logo Concepts.

The core concepts that we have been working with represent in the least a part of who we are at core-movement. These designs give a glimpse of the type of work and spirit we embody at core-movement. We don’t believe ourselves to be a gimmick and as such don’t want images that can’t stand the test of time to represent us as a company.

The anchor represents all the things that anchor us, anchors are a symbol of faith, and let’s be honest they’re just cool, besides we also enjoy being on and around the water next to a bike it’s our second home.

The shield represents our past, present and future. It reminds us of our own families and the heritage we must maintain, a true testament to our love of the ideals of the past with the willingness to embrace the future.

The Bicycle Academy.

I recently came across this really cool organization called The Bicycle Academy. It seems like many companies are following in TOMS footsteps with the purchase one and donate one philosophy. Although with The Bicycle Academy it's a little different. Legendary frame builder Brian Curtis actually teaches you how to weld your first frame which is then given to a person in need! Don't believe me, then check out this video.

Of course this man is one of my icons, I think that if you aspire to be like anyone it should be yourself. However if you model your attributes from someone they should be of substance. McQueen was a man of substance, he was more than an actor or racer, he was iconoclast. Also check out Pemberton, we like what they're doing.
Nicholson Wooster:
Besides being one of the most quintessential style icons, the man also sports some of the nicest ink I've seen. That leg piece definitely makes me want to start a leg piece soon, I'll have to finish up my left arm sleeve sooner than later.
